Time for a newsletter on our upcoming events. Maybe I can answer a few questions
and explain some of the great happenings we have coming in the future.
First I'll start with the Doomed game happening on October
7th and 8th. this one is gonna be a blast. We've built a transporter room and
all. The Doom troopers are working over time to help with the props and special
effects for this game as is Craig and Sue Grindle. If you have seen the movie or
played the game then you are gonna love this game. If not , you will probably
enjoy it anyway just cause the effort these guys are putting forth for the xtras
in this game are all that and then some. Registration for this game is $50 with
$10 of each reg going towards our child that LCP is sponsoring this year. Her
name is Eryana Jones. She has a fatal disease called Sialidosis. She is a very
sweet girl who needs our help. Those who came to our Summer Heat game got the
chance to meet her and LCP and it's players were able to raise over $1000 for
her at that event. Please take the time to visit her website at
www.eryanajones.com
Free Finale 2006! Number one question I have had to answer
on this one is "When is registration gonna open?" Here's the answer.
Registration will open for all players in attendance on
October 7th at the Doomed Game. Registration will
open on www.freefinale.com on October 8th at 8pm.
If you have already seen the website or received a previous letter from me on
this landmark event, you already know that this
years reg requires a $15 deposit at registration time
that will be refunded back to the player at the Free Finale in air or CO2. This
event booked 750 people in 2 days last year so watch the site and get signed up.
This years event will also be a field paint only event but as always LCP is
bringing you the paint for prices starting at $30 per case. PMI and Archon (ZAP)
will be the paint providers for this years event. I will be generaling against
my wife this year in a game titled Mr and Mrs Smith based on the spy movie of
the same name. We are gonna allow 50 card carrying
spies per side. Please contact your general of choice for a spot as a spy.
I am also gonna give away 5 cases of paint to the
individual who can come up wit the best spy gadget for this game. The judging on
this will be on Friday night December 8th.
We are also adding another bonus to this years Free Finale
- On Friday morning, December 8th. We will be hosting a Top Gun tournament
sponsored by PMI. First place prizes will be an Evil Minion, Hopper, tank and
mask and probably a bit more by time the event gets here. This will be a single
elimination event. Entry will be $25 per person. Sign-up and registration for
Top Gun will be found on www.freefinale.com . Again pre-reg is a must.
For all the Spec-Ops fans, Spec-Ops will be in attendance
this year. I have spoken to Rory and they will be bringing their wares to sell
and to play some paintball with all of you.
Paul Bolin with Knights Crossing will be bringing his wide
assortment of goodies for all.
Derek and Mark of PMI will have the PMI tent for your
browsing and buying enjoyment (I'm told their will be some mighty nice eye candy
also!)
More vendors are expected to sign on as the event draws closer.
Head Reffing staff will be handled by Bill Dunlop and crew
of Duncans Games ( http://www.duncansgames.com/ ) along with LCP's sponsored
scenario teams working the field.
I hope I have answered most questions and look forward to seeing all at LCP's
upcoming events. if any questions still need to be answered feel free to contact
me by phone at 912-663-2314 or by email at locopaintball@yahoo.com
